Case Study: Apartment-cum Hotel in PJ

 

The Property Agents for a New Property Development in Petaling Jaya had signed a deal for a hotel organisation to take over a certain number of rooms. After furnishing the units, the deal fell through due to COVID-19 and the property agents were stuck with furniture after a deal with a hotel company fell through due to COVID.

They managed to get a couple of offers for the furniture, but when they appointed Unearth to do the job, we managed to get them 30% extra on the highest bid, maximising their efforts to recoup their lost capital.

 

Managing Inventory.

We managed our client’s inventory, which comprised of beds, sofa beds, TV racks, mattresses, TVs and so on by creating a system to identify which rooms the furnitures were in.

To clear inventory quickly and to maximise value for our clients, timely and accurate customer service response was extremely necessary. A 16 hour a day customer service team was set up specifically for this project.
